February 22, 2010 – Last week the National Collegiate Inventors and Innovators Alliance (NCIIA) announced the 16 Excellent and Entrepreneurship Teams (E-Teams) that will be displaying their state-of-the-art innovations at the NCIIA's annual March Madness for the Mind showcase. The free event will be held March 27 at the Exploratorium in San Francisco as part of the NCIIA's Annual Conference.

February 13, 2010 – After a fun and informative three days, Tech4Society has come to a close. The event, which brought together pioneers on the cutting edge of innovation in solar energy, clean water, mobile technology, science education, agriculture and healthcare, was sponsored by Ashoka and The Lemelson Foundation (with generous support from Microsoft). February 11, 2010 – Over in Hyderabad, India, things have wound down after a packed first day at Tech4Society. The day's activities featured a keynote address on entreprenuership and innovation, as well as a panel with several Ashoka-Lemelson Fellows discussing the lessons they've learned as serial-entrepreneurs.

February 5, 2010 –  As noted on the RAMP partner Villgro's blog, Anand Krishnaswamy, The Lemelson Foundation's consultant in India, wrote an interesting article about in innovative group in India that has created the 'Milk Tree' – a vending machine for milk for installation in apartment complexes and housing colonies in India.

February 3, 2010 – Last Thursday the latest AshokaTECH podcast was released, featuring a timely interview with Ashoka-Lemelson Fellow Elizabeth Hausler, founder of Build Change. Hausler is an expert on sustainable building practices to prevent earthquake damage.
