March 4, 2010 – Want to help with the relief efforts in the wake of Chile's devastating earthquake last week? NESsT, The Lemelson Foundation's RAMP partner in Peru, has established the Levantando Chile Fund to support local Chilean nonprofit organizations that are channeling assistance to communities on the ground. In the short run, the Fund will support both immediate assistance and long-term reconstruction efforts in Chile.

The four awarding universities – Massachusetts Institute of Technology, California Institute of Technology, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign – announced their respective student winners today, featuring innovation in a range of fields.

February 22, 2010 – Last week the National Collegiate Inventors and Innovators Alliance (NCIIA) announced the 16 Excellent and Entrepreneurship Teams (E-Teams) that will be displaying their state-of-the-art innovations at the NCIIA's annual March Madness for the Mind showcase. The free event will be held March 27 at the Exploratorium in San Francisco as part of the NCIIA's Annual Conference.
