Aspen Network of Development Entrepreneurs

Aspen_logo With funding from, among others, the Lemelson, Gates and Rockefeller Foundations, in early 2009 the Aspen Institute launched the Aspen Network of Development Entrepreneurs (ANDE). This non-profit think tank composed of intermediaries (firms that provide capital and/or business development services), funders, and experts helps small and growing businesses succeed while creating conditions for local markets to work. Lex Mundi Pro Bono Foundation

The Lemelson Foundation provided support for the Lex Mundi Pro Bono Foundation (LMPBF) to increase and strengthen their delivery of free legal services to social inventor-entrepreneurs, and to help the organization become more financially sustainable. Schwab Foundation for Social Entrepreneurship

The Foundation is partnering with the Schwab Foundation to establish a “leapfrog fund” that supports the transfer of successful innovations between social entrepreneurs in diverse parts of the world. For more information visit: Schwab Foundation

Stanford India BioDesign
