Want to help with the relief efforts in the wake of Chile's devastating earthquake last week? NESsT, The Lemelson Foundation's RAMP partner in Peru, has established the Levantando Chile Fund to support local Chilean nonprofit organizations that are channeling assistance to communities on the ground. In the short run, the Fund will support both immediate assistance and long-term reconstruction efforts in Chile.

Late last week, the full proceedings document was made available from the EV Roadmap Conference which was held in Portland, Oregon on Nov. 9. The day-long event was a convening of a broad coalition of the region's individuals, businesses, EV manufacturers and suppliers, nonprofits, and public sector organizations to discuss what work had been done towards preparing the Oregon for electric vehicle (EV) adoption and to coordinate efforts into a community of interest with a look at what was on the horizon for electric vehicles in 2010 and beyond.
