Mission – The Lemelson Foundation is dedicated to improving lives through invention
Established by American inventor Jerome Lemelson, the Foundation supports inventors, invention and innovation at every stage. This helps ensure that great ideas and great inventors will continue to serve the U.S. and the world.
- From the Classroom to the Real World. We build the next generation of inventors by engaging students in science, technology and hands-on learning opportunities.
- From the Garage to the Marketplace. We provide inventors with financial, technical and mentoring assistance to make their ideas a reality.
- From the Marketplace to Individual Lives. We support sustainable enterprises that design and deliver technologies to those who need them most.
