Varun Kapoor, MD, co-founded Nura Health as a med tech company aimed at improving the diagnosis of endometriosis for millions of women.
He is a self-described serial healthcare entrepreneur with over 15 years of experience in medical devices and digital health. His desire to solve health inequities for women and improve access to care led to the co-founding of Nura Health in 2023.
His company developed a patent-pending, non-invasive blood test for endometriosis that provides women with more accurate and personalized insights while eliminating the need for surgical biopsies. It also shortens women’s diagnosis time from years to days.
VentureWell supported Kapoor through his participation in the ARPA-H Sprint for Women’s Health, which helped his company grow in technical and project planning, as well as the quality of deliverables.
